Q: Why does my mask look different from the picture on the website?

A: All of our masks are hand-cut and hand-painted. While we do our best to stay true to the original design, there will always be some variations from the original- it's part of the joys of owning something handmade.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

A: You'll see the price for shipping any item once you click on the "order" button- these are flat rates for both domestic and international orders- in both cases, we've priced below the actual shipping/labor costs for getting your orders to you- this is just to help offset that expense a little bit.

Q: What shipping method do you use?

A: On all normal orders, we will ship your purchase via the United States Postal Service, which typically arrives within 7 days of the shipping date. International orders can typically take up to two weeks to arrive, so please be patient while your order takes time to process. We do not ship by any express methods unless specifically requested to, in which case there will be an additional shipping surchage to cover express postage.

Q: Can you custom design a mask for me?

A: At this time, we are taking custom orders. Please realize that most custom designs can take up to a month to complete, especially in the case of our gasmask art pieces. If you have a custom design idea, feel free to contact us with it. Please do note however, that there are some designs we cannot and will not be able to make for you, all of which fall into one of the following categories:

1: The design is that of a copyrighted character, logo, or image.

2: The design is unsafe to wear (lacking any breathing apertures whatsoever)

Q: How long does it take for you to ship an order?

A: It depends on a few factors. If the piece is in stock and ready to go, it will generally ship within one to two business days of the order being placed. Note- when you place an order, we will send you a confirmation email (seperately from your paypal receipt) that will include the shipping date of your order.

Q: How do I take care of my mask?

A: All of our mask designs are fairly durable, but in no way should they ever be cleaned with any kind of liquid. Use a dry, clean cloth or paper towel to remove any dust or stains. If possible with our leather masks, you may want to store the mask on a wig head, to help it keep its shape over time. And finally, always store masks in a cool, dry environment to help preserve them.

Q: My bootwings turned floppy. What can I do about it?

A: Due to the way they're hardened, our bootwings and Ravenwings will lose rigidity over time and wear- it can be fixed to some extent by getting the wings wet, placing them FLAT on a cookie sheet, and putting them in a low temp (225 celsius maximum) oven for twenty to tirthy minutes- please note that this may cause some shrinkage and warping. Warping can be fixed by placing the wings flat under a heavy object while they cool.

Q: What's your return/exchange policy?

A: At this time, we do not accept returns on merchandise, unless it was damaged during shipping. Damaged items can be exchanged for a new item of the same type, which will be shipped once the original piece has been returned to us. While we cannot refund your initial shipping fee, we will not charge you again for the new piece. If you have any other questions on this policy, please contact us.
